CPR & First Aid – these classes will be scheduled as needed. Class sizes limited to 12. Please call the JAC Office to be put on a list, once we have 6 members signed up we will schedule the class.
Copper I (2 nights)
This class will cover basic safety as well as proper torch setup and safety. Students will learn proper technique for the installation of copper soldering and brazing. This course is a basic introduction to copper installation and is a prerequisite for Copper II. Students must wear work attire as well as long sleeve shirts, work boots and proper PPE. This class is limited to 10 people.

Scissor & Boom Lift Training
This class will cover the basic safe operation of Arial Platforms classroom and practical. Also covered will be scissor lift safety and operation. Students will be given time to practice operation of each type of equipment. Proper work attire required. A certification card will be mailed out after class is completed. This class is limited of 12.

Trimble Total Robotic Station Layout (3 nights)
This class will cover the set up and use of the Total Robotic Station as used for layout of fire protection systems. Students will run through set, trouble shooting and scenario situations to better familiarize themselves with the total robotic station. This class is limited to 8 people. Basic Computer skills are required.

OSHA 30 Hour (8 nights)
The OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. This is an eight (8) night class and you must attend all 8 nights to receive the 30 hour certificate, no partial time will be given. (We Have Space for 12 Members in this class). A OSHA 30 completion card will be mailed out upon successful completion of class.

Reliable Sprinkler Co. Dry Valves
We will cover the basic set up & trip test of both the new Dry Valves. This class will only be covering the Reliable Sprinkler valves and assemblies in this portion. Students will be given information on the installation, testing and maintenance of the Reliable valve assemblies. Participants must wear work attire and proper PPE. This class is limited to 20 people

Copper II (2 nights)
This is an advanced copper class. Students must have taken Copper I to take this class. Students will be performing complexed techniques in copper soldering and brazing. Techniques like, “in the air” repairs, installation, T Drill use and but joining of copper pipe. This class is mostly shop time, a small safety portion will take place prior to shop work. Students must wear work attire, long sleeve shirts and proper PPE. This class is limited to 10 people.

Dry Systems in Refrigerated Spaces
This class will cover the basics of Dry Systems in refrigerated spaces. Using NFPA 13 2013 ed. this class will go in depth of requirements and best practices of installation, testing and maintenance of dry systems in refrigerated spaces. This class is limited to 20 people.

Hangers and Bracing
This class will cover the proper types and uses of different types of hangers, bracing and attachments. Using NFPA 13 2013 ed. to identify what hangers can and cannot be used in different situations, as well as what types of attachments can be used in a given application. Also, bracing will be discussed and proper ways and methods of using bracing. This class is limited to 20 people.

Fire Pump Repacking
This class will cover Fire Pump Repacking of the horizontal spilt case pumps. Students will have hands on class time of the proper methods and techniques of repacking a horizontal split case fire pump including proper sizing of the packing, components and procedures. Proper work attire is required as well as proper PPE. (Class is Limited to 8 members)

Valve Repacking & Rebuild
This class will cover methods and procedures of how to repack different types of valves including proper types of packing and gasket material. Students will receive class time as well as shop time. Work attire is required as well as proper PPE. This class is limited to 15 people.

CPVC Certification Class
This Class is designed to give you the proper methods of Solvent Cementing CPVC Pipe together and best practices of installation. This class is given by a representative from Lubirzol and a course completion card will be mailed out after the completion of the class. This class is limited to 12 people.

This class will cover the basic safe operation of forklifts. Students will learn the safe operation of forklift use and will demonstrate the proper use and limitations of a forklift. Class room and field time will be given. If remediation is needed, we will schedule additional nights if needed. A completion card will be mailed out after completion of the class. This class is limited to 12 people.

**Proposed Class** ASSE (American Society of Sanitary Engineers) 15010- Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems Certification ASSE International developed the ASSE 15000 certification program to raise the bar for fire protection industry personnel and ensure public safety. Individuals who are certified to ASSE 15010 will have the ability to knowledgeably and skillfully inspect, test and maintain water-based fire protection systems to the satisfaction of the fire protection industry and beyond the minimum requirements of NFPA 25. This will be a Forty (40) hour class that will be five (5) eight (8) hour Saturday classes with a hands on and 200 question written certification test and the end of the class.
